Dadurch ist es zurzeit nicht mehr möglich, die OAI-basierten Kriterien des aktuellen DINI-Zertifikats technisch zu validieren. Somit können vorerst keine DINI-Zertifizierungen stattfinden.

Vor gut drei Jahren, im Februar 2018 hatte die DINI AG Forschungsinformationssysteme Praktiker:innen gebeten, im Blog ihre Projekte vorzustellen und zu berichten, was den Ausschlag für die Auswahl der jeweiligen Lösung gegeben hat. Mit insgesamt zwölf Beiträgen ist daraufhin in der Reihe „Systemwahl“ eine eigene Marktübersicht entstanden, die sowohl Eigenentwicklungen als auch proprietäre und Open-Source-Systeme umfasst.

Im Rahmen der Knowledge Exchange Research Evaluation task & finish group wurde ein neuer Bericht veröffentlicht: „Openness Profile: Modelling research evaluation for open scholarship“ Der Bericht beschreibt Mechanismen und Ansätze, um die Erfassung, Bewertung und Anerkennung von Beiträgen zu Open Science bzw. offener Wissenschaftspraxis zu verbessern.

This week’s post features Lisa Matthias, a PhD candidate at the Graduate School of North American Studies at Freie Universität Berlin. After joining the lab in Spring 2019 to lead a project on opioid science in the news, Lisa stayed on to become the ScholCommLab’s official “perennial” visiting scholar.

Introduction In December 2018, a University of Minnesota web librarian, Cody Hanson, participated in a workshop hosted by the Coalition for Networked Information. The topic of this, and a number of other events to date, is the drive by major scholarly publishers to more fully integrate authentication systems for accessing electronic media into their platforms.

Im März hat Google Scholar die Funktion “Public access” in Google-Scholar-Profilen integriert. Anliegen ist es, so Google, Forschende bei der Umsetzung von Open-Access-Policies („public access mandates“) zu unterstützen.
