I have done an edit of the deck of slides I showed at the Forms of Innovation workshop at the University of Durham last Saturday 27th April 2013 to share online. You can download it as a .pptx file, and use it under a CC BY license, from Figshare.

I set up a Google spreadsheet to collect #HASTAC2013 tweets and created an interactive archive that visualises the interactions in real time.

I am looking forward to participating in “Forms of Innovation: Humanities, Copyright and New Technologies”, a workshop at the University of Durham this Saturday 27 April 2013.

Today I will be talking about “the digital humanities” (DH) for the Library, Publishing and Information Society seminar at City University London (#citylis). Lee Skallerup will be joining us live from Kentucky.

Earlier this week the rumors that started in January became official: Elsevier is buying Mendeley (see also here). A lot has been written about this announcement, in particular about the fear that Mendeley as a product and organization will turn into something not as open and collaborative as before. I first met Victor and Jan from Mendeley in 2008 and did an interview with Victor in September 2008.
