Vom 5. – 7. November 2012 findet die WissKom2012 am Forschungszentrum Jülich statt. Das Motto der Konferenz lautet „Vernetztes Wissen – Daten, Menschen, Systeme“. Die WissKom wird von der Zentralbibliothek des Forschungszentrums veranstaltet. Wer die WissKom nicht kennt, dem sei ein Blick in die Tagungsbände der vergangen Jahre (2010, 2007) empfohlen.

He framed the whole challenge of change as an example of a well known problem, that of collective action. How do societies manage big changes when those changes often represent a disadvantage to many individuals, at least in the short term.
