Thanks to the generous support received from the scholarly community during the first year of SCOSS adoption, we’re happy to announce the appointment of three new colleagues to work for OpenCitations at the Research Centre for Open Scholarly Metadata (University of Bologna).

OpenCitations is managed by the newly formed Research Centre for Open Scholarly Metadata at the University of Bologna. The new International Advisory Board for OpenCitations is formally part of the Research Centre for Open Scholarly Metadata. The Board has been created to assist the Directors of OpenCitations by providing stakeholder community input that will guide the future activities and direction of OpenCitations.
The FNSO is contributing € 250,000, which is 16.3% of the amount that was requested under SCOSS and is committing to a political and technical partnership with OpenCitations.
