In the global research evaluation community, there is an increasing awareness of the importance of responsible evaluation. The current situation, with an emphasis on quantitative metrics, does not do justice to diversity between scientific fields, to different roles of researchers, or to the societal value of research. Moreover, studies have shown that researchers adjust their activities in anticipation of evaluations.

Ablehnung wird bis Ende März entschieden werden; fertige Beiträge wären bis 1. Mai einzureichen.

Erfahrungsaustausch und Zusammenarbeit waren Wünsche und Erwartungen der Anwendenden des Forschungsmanagement-Moduls RES der HIS eG, die sich am 17. Februar zur Gründung einer Community per Videokonferenz trafen. Das von CRIS.NRW initiierte Treffen stieß bundesweit auf große Resonanz bei den Anwendenden.

The recent Covid-19 pandemic has shown the rising role and relevance of bringing out and exchanging scientific results faster than ever. Tens of thousands scientific articles hosted on preprint servers were published only during the first ten months of the pandemic.
