At Networked Researher, a new Peer Interview, this time with Liana Silva, who is amongst other things the Associate Editor of the University of Venus.
Here’s my submission for the House of Lords inquiry. I rather ran out of steam writing it so you’ll see it tails off towards the end. There’s probably loads of things I should mention too. But alas, I have lots of other work to be getting on with right now. Ironically, I highlight the excellent journal Impact Factor‘s of some OA journals. Please forgive me for those sins! My new Peer Interview at Networked Researcher is with Mark Carrigan.
At Altmetric, I published a somewhat long post on why and how to get your published research mentioned online. Hope someone finds it useful.
I have published another post in my Peer Interview series at Networked Researcher. This one is with Melonie Fullick.
At 4Humanities, the conversation I had in both English and Español with Alex Gil, who is amongst many other things Digital Scholarship Coordinator at Columbia University.

The official version won’t be freely accessible from the website until next year (instant access is currently a perk of Systematics Association membership only ) so in the meantime I’ll re-blog it here: Is this the first mention of #icanhazpdf in scholarly literature?
At Altmetric, my new Fieldwork post looks at online mentions of papers about the humanities… I also wonder if apple and oranges can be compared..
As a way of engaging in remote participation I set up Far Way, Yet Close within the excellent MLA Commons network.
