PKP Documentation Update

The PKP Documentation Interest Group (DIG) has been hard at work. Together, with the PKP community, we've been busy updating, editing, and creating documentation on the new PKP Docs Hub.

Since our last update back in August, here's what we've been up to:

We've also been adding new features to the hub, including an "Improve this Page" button that appears throughout our guides and allows users to suggest edits and additions to documentation.

The PKP Documentation Interest Group, or DIG, holds bi-weekly 1-2 hour virtual sprints for PKP software users and developers to work together on documentation. Some of our upcoming sprint topics include OJS requirements for DOAJ inclusion and rewriting the "Learning OMP" guide to better meet the standard set by "Learning OJS."

The DIG is an excellent way for PKP community members to contribute back to the Project. It provides an opportunity for developers and non-developers alike to contribute to an open source project, with full attribution within a welcoming and educational environment. We welcome everyone to participate, regardless of technical capability.

To learn more about how you can contribute to PKP's documentation efforts, check out our guide to contributing. If you'd like to find out more about PKP documentation, attend a sprint, or join the DIG, contact documentation@publicknowledgeproject.org.
