We look forward to working with our new and continuing board members as we further DataCite's mission to connect research and advance knowledge through persistent identifiers and open metadata.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our outgoing board members—Jennifer Gibson, Lynn Woolfrey, Adrian Burton, Torsten Reimer, Viv Hutchinson, and John Chodacki—for their invaluable service and dedication to DataCite. Their leadership has been instrumental in strengthening DataCite as a trusted and globally engaged provider of PID services. We are deeply grateful for the impact they have had on the organization and the broader research community.

We are excited about the year ahead and the continued collaboration with our community and board to build a more open and connected research ecosystem.
