2026 DataCite Board Applications Now Open!

Applications are now open for the 2026 DataCite Board Elections. As a member-governed organization, DataCite's strength comes from its active and engaged global membership, with the Board playing a key role in shaping our strategic direction.

Individuals from DataCite member organizations (Direct Members, Supporting Members, and Consortium Leads) are eligible to stand for election. In support of equity, diversity, and balanced geographical representation, we especially encourage applications from the Middle East & North Africa and Europe, while welcoming candidates from all regions and backgrounds.

Step forward to help shape DataCite's future; nominate yourself or another eligible individual.
Applications close at the end of the day on 28 February 2026, with elections taking place at the General Assembly in April 2026.
